To disciple Gospel City Kids to know the whole counsel of God so that they may love and treasure Christ as their Lord and Saviour, observe His teachings closely, and become shining lights in the world.
We believe corporate worship is a very special time for both parents and children to worship together with the entire congregation as much as possible. When we allow children to worship, read Scripture, and pray with us, it communicates to them that this time of worship is important and that we are inviting them to take part in this act of enjoying and praising God together. This brings God glory and it allows children to see and experience what true worship looks like when God’s people come together to extol our LORD and King.

In the fall, we continue our annual tradition of apple picking and wagon riding.

Vacation Bible School
Through a full week of Bible lessons, crafts, science, games, worship, drama, and even snack stations, the children are discipled to gain a greater understanding of who Jesus is and what He has done for us.

Fall Trunk or Treat
An opportunity for us to be lights in the community as we get dressed up, carve pumpkins together, decorate our car trunks, and fill them up with candy as we hand out gospel tracts.

What about safety?
At Gospel City Church, all of our staff, leaders, and volunteers serving within GC Kids Ministry undergo extensive screening (including Vulnerable Sector Checks) and abuse prevention training to ensure we meet the highest standard of safety to protect our kids. Security tags are also required upon check-out to ensure that only authorized parents / guardians can pick up their children.

Cynthia Wong
Cynthia is a mother of four very curious and delightful children. Some of her favourite hobbies include reading and studying the Word, playing board games, family movie nights, and going rock climbing. As a Registered Early Childhood Educator who has worked in a variety of missional settings, Cynthia’s desire is to teach God’s commands to the younger generation so that they can “be doers of the Word, and not hearers only” - James 1:22.
