about us
our values
Love
We are committed to loving God and loving others and to be known for our love for one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:35)
Unity
We seek to foster unity in diversity, together as a church family and are called to serve our community and those in need through both physical and spiritual acts of love and kindness.
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13)
Worship
We strive to glorify God through worship that is rooted in scripture and that brings us closer to God.
Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. (Isaiah 12:5)
Evangelism
We seek to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to everyone through both word and deed.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Discipleship
We prioritize the practice of discipling others in the faith, helping them to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their personal relationship with God.
And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. (2 Timothy 2:2)
Stewardship
We strive to be wise stewards of the resources God has given us, using them to meet the needs of the church and community.
Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Member Covenant
When you make a vow to God, do not delay to fulfill it. He has no pleasure in fools; fulfill your vow. It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it. (Ecclesiastes 5:4-5)

our beliefs
The Gospel
We believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Unlike the holy and righteous God, we are sinful and depraved. Thus, we need a Lord and saviour to rescue us by becoming a perfect sacrifice that satisfies the wrath and justice of God. Jesus did that by becoming man for us, making it possible for him to suffer and die on the cross. Then, by dying at the hands of humankind, he became our appeasement and saviour. But death did not ultimately conquer him. God also raised him from the dead, eternally sealing a victory over Satan, sin and death. Consequently, Jesus was exalted over everything to become Lord of all. Thus, he is most worthy to be enjoyed and worshipped.
The Bible
The Bible is God’s words revealed in the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. These texts were written by men who were directed by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the Bible is infallible in all of its teachings about faith and practice. As such, it is authoritative over all humans. The Bible is centrally about God. By the Spirit of God, what it testifies about Jesus leads men and women to salvation.
God
God is holy, righteous, just, merciful, long-suffering, wise, loving, good, wrathful, truthful, faithful and jealous. He alone is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, eternal, everlasting, immutable, incomprehensible, self-existent, self-sufficient, infinite, transcendent and sovereign. He is the creator and ruler of all things.
The Trinity
There is only one living and true God who exists as three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each person is coequal and co-eternal in the Godhead. That being said, the Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit and the Spirit is not the Father.
Sin
Sin is the transgression of God’s moral law. This law is God’s revealed will for us to be perfectly holy in act, attitude and nature to the glory of God.
Salvation
Only God’s free grace can save sinners from the consequences of sin, namely God’s wrath and eternal punishment. He does this by sending his only Son to die a penal substitutionary death on the cross. In other words, Jesus takes the penalty for our sin by becoming sin for us; in exchange, he imputes his righteousness to us. This sacrifice is vicarious for those that have faith. It is our only justification before God.
